My 5th Birthday!

I got to have my birthday party after all! Momma took some time off school work for my party and then let me use her computer so I could share the pictures with everyone. I got some great presents from momma and daddy, like my new drinking fountain, and Empress gave me a feather tail mouse. My son Kitty Face sent me the cute card in the picture. I even got my favorite stinky goodness for dinner. Momma was going to cook but did not have time. She said she would make it up to me. I keep her to it. Hehe. I should be back to full blog mode next week, as momma's major exam is Friday and she will be more free then to help me. Please every one keep your paws crossed for her!

Busy Momma

Thanks to momma's grad classes this week I will have little opportunity to blog. I can hardly get her to take pictures of me or stop reading class books long enough to get on the internet for me. Sorry in advance if you do not see much of me this week, blame it on her. I just hope I still get my birthday party on Wednesday and she doesn't forget.

Thursday 13, Edition #2: All About EMPRESS

Empress **Sisters lets me borrows bloggy for Thursday 13 to tell you all about me.** 1. I is a purebred Egyptian Mau 2. My coat color is called Bronze but is also called cool so it is nots the dark browny color. Mommy says it the color of champagne, whats ever that is. 3. My furdaddy was a champion named Amon Gold, and my furmommy was also a champion named Touch of Kats Cleokatra. 4. Lots of my furganddadys and furgandmas and furrelatives were champions and grand champions. I is very purrroud of them. 5. Before I come to lives wif my new family I lived in California ins a Savanna Cat cattery. 6. I's had one litter of kittens. They were very cute, but did not have the frootbat ears Maus is supposed to have. I guess mines is a bit on the smallish side too. 7. My cattery mommy wanted me to has a nice little family wif another kitty to play wif so she found my new mommy and that how I flews to Texas. 8. I luvs kittys very much cus I spent so much time wif all cats, beans sometimes scare me even mommy. 9. I purrrr and chortal whens I happy, mommy say I sounds likes a wild animal on Animal Planet. 10. I is a master theifs, I steels food and toys and even mommy's work keys out of purse once. 11. I has not figured out what mommy means by the strange word "NO". 12. I luvs to play tag. 13. Catnip is a wonderful thing.

My Halloween Costume: Oriental Kitty!

I decided I wanted to be an oriental kitty for Halloween this year. The best place to model my costume would have to be China so I made, mmm asked, momma to take me there last night to take my pictures. Isn't China pretty? I wish we could have stayed longer but she had to be back today.

I did get a souvenir from our trip, this beautiful fan! I think this it goes very nice with my costume.

My Son Punkin

Well momma the let camera battery die this weekend, she has promised to get a new one today so we could take my costume pictures, so I thought I would introduce you to my oldest son Punkin. He lives with my grandma bean and is very spoiled by her. He is a good boy and sends me cards and presents on my birthday and mother's day. As you can see he also likes fashions. He likes football, especially the Texas Longhorns which is good seeing how his furr is burnt orange.

Here I am on my sleeping perch in pink pajamas. I don't sleep here after dark as you can see it is out side but I thought PJ's would look good here anyway.

Thursday 13, Edition #1: All about ME

Queen Snickers 1…. My momma and her family rescued me and my kittens from a golf course where her parents lived 3 years ago. I was trying to take care of and feed us all while avoiding scary alligators, poisonous snakes and coyotes. I'm so glad momma took us in! I even surprised her with more kittens! 2. I've had a total of 6 kittens from 2 litters, all quite beautiful if I say so myself. One red mackerel tabby (Punkin), a grey Tuxedo(Tostie), 3 blond tabbies(Kitty Face, Chie, Rollie) and my little girl was a diluted calico(Angel). 3. My momma picked my birthday out because I can't remember when I was really born. She chose a holiday so everyone could remember when it was and I could get presents!! 4. I got my name Snickers because momma thought I had all the colors of the candy bar of the same name. The tan spot on my forehead she thinks looks like a drip of caramel. Can you tell Snicker Bars are her favorite treat? 5. I eat special organic single protein food because of a tummy problem that make me get sick on other food. 6. I also just found out that I have the beingings of heart disease, the v.e.t. took pictures of my heart and found fluid about it. The v.e.t. said that loosing weight might help it from getting worse or stop it all together! We are hoping for the later. I have had lots of help with my exercises thank to my new little sister and so far I've lost 1.5 lbs. 7. I love to smell flowers, when ever momma gets them I have to sniff them. I will even stick my nose in silk flowers! 8. I love anyone who will pet me! They just better not pick me up or I might scratch them trying to get down. 9. I will walk on a leash in my backyard but out the front door is still to scary. What if I got lost? Maybe momma will get a stroller, I might do that. 10. No potato chip is safe from me! Momma has to keep them safely locked away or I will get them. They are my favorite treat. I will even steal them right out of your hand if you do not get it into your mouth fast enough! Every once and a while momma will give me a piece of a chip. 11. I will not play with cloth mice, who ever heard of a mouse made out of cotton? Mine have to be fur. 12. Other toys need to at least have feathers to catch my attention, for more than a few seconds, I am very picky. 13. I sleep snuggled right next to momma's head at night.

Bad Pumpkin Costume

Well I started trying on costumes for Skeezix's Halloween Costoom Contest and Momma got me this pumpkin one. I don't think it will work though. It's way too big and not very girly. I think I look like the headless horseman. Back to the drawingboard. I better hurry I'm running out of time.

Happy Anniversary Momma and Daddy!

I'm being extra cute today because it is Momma and Daddy's second anniversary. I will have to keep a close eye on Empress and make sure she acts like a good girl. We won't even fight over feather balls tonight! I promise. Really, I do.

Cat Rescue

Some friends of momma's rescues cats, and they do it all on their own. This is a very good thing to do I think so I thought it would be nice to put their fundraiser button on my new page. I also put their blog "Purr Therapy" as one of my favorites even though a peoples writes it. Is mostly about cats so it is ok.

My New Little Sister

This is my little sister. She has a ridiculously long name, Touch of Katz Empress Queen Soraya, but momma shortens it to Empress. She is very small, extremely fast and hyper. Momma brought her home about a month ago saying a needed a playmate because I was getting too lazy! So I lounge, that's what Queens do! I've tried to explain this but she just doesn't listen.
