Words on Wednesday

It looks like Ms. Honey and crew emptied the food bowl last night! (we hope it was her and not a possum!) Momma will be "camping out" at the office this evening in and try to trap the family. She is kinda of nervous, no a lot nervous! So many what ifs? What if she gets a possum? (hehe) What if she gets the kittens and no Honey? or Ms Honey and can't find the babies? She wishes she had a trapping buddy, but daddy has to work late. Some one has to come take care of us too! She would call her sister but she has a new sticky bean and Aunty Lindy has to work. :( We appreciate you purrrrs for a successfully night!

Yummy Treat

He he I snuk myself a yummy treat! RIBS!! Honey BBQ is soooo good! I am not supposed to eat on the table but I couldn't help myself!

** Update on Ms. Honey, She must have come back during the night and ate (half the bowl is empty and we are in the middle of the city so not much chance of wild animals) but she and the kittens are not in view today yet. We hope they are just near by. **

Ms. Honey

Yep that her name, Ms. Honey. She is a pale gold and and white tabby. When momma got to her day hunting office today she went looking for her and the babies, but can not find them!! Momma is sick with worry. She put out fresh food in two different spots and clean water. Please come back Ms. Honey! We want to help you and you kittens have a better life!! We will update our blog if Ms. Honey is spotted, momma has the flashy box with her too.

EMERGENCY

Momma just found out a feral/semi feral mommy kitty and at least 2 babies at living in the bushes next to her office. They are technically on the next door offices property. They are calling in some one to trap and dispose of the cats!!! Momma and a friend at the office is trying to intervene! We needs MEGA purrrs! Momma will have to trap and remove them herself if she can convince them. She is kinda scared by that!!

**Update**

There are 4 kittens! The mommy doesn't look very old either, maybe 9 months herself. Momma just finished talking with the lady next door and they have agreed to let momma trap them. Momma will start trying to trap on Monday. She and her office friend will feed the kitties over the weekend. When they are trapped, they will be coming to our house! YIKES!!! Mommies tummy is all butterflies, she doesn't know how we will manage the green papers for all this but we can't do anything else and daddy agrees.

**Update 2**

Looks like the trapping may have to wait for Wednesday night. The place momma is going to try to take the family for "fixing" and shots is only open Monday and Thursday mornings. This will give momma more time to plan and set up a feeding routine anyway that will help with the trapping process. We think we may try some fund raising and if kitties and their beans just want to help out with green papers too that would be great. We are not sure how much all the spay/neuter costs are going to be as we do not know how many girls and boys there are. Rabies shots are free but any other health care like FIV test cost $20 a piece. Does any kitty know how to set up a paypal button?

Next, Empress won 3rd place in Texas' Funny Picture Friday last week! She is all a giggle!!


Finally, we created an award of our own. There are so many kitty mommies out there who, so selflessly, take up the cause of kitty (and other fuzzies) welfare. They give and give and then give more to their own babies. We could hand out dozens of this award, but one Kitty Mommy recently inspired us. Zippy, Sadie and Speedy of Kattonic Cats have an incredible mom! Even with personal trials of sorrow, sickness and exhaustion, she came through for some very ill kittens. We are happy to give her the first Super Kitty Mommy award!!
The Super Kitty Mommy award was created to recognize the those mommies (or daddies hehe) who have exhibited super powers when it comes to caring to kitties and fuzzies in need while still being a spectacular mommy to her own fur babies.

We came close to getting another little sister! When momma when to go get our food she ran into this little 6 month old girl named Sabrina. Momma and I are astonished how much she looks like me!!! She is a diluted blue torti with gold-green eyes! Like me! She even has same split blue-gray/cream & gold chin and a cream with gold striped triangle on her tummy!!

Momma thought I must have looked very much like her at 6 months! The store owner said she was a sweetheart! Momma agreed!

She kept trying to grab momma through the cage! If we were already moved I don't think momma would have left with out her.

I think I would have liked her, after all Torti's RULE! Momma's sure she will get a forever home quickly, she was too pretty and sweet not to!

We are always getting Mandarin and Cantonese mixed up! Momma's good friend at work speaks Cantonese but can't read or write it! So she couldn't help.

Friday! Yea! Cleaning and laundry are the only plans my beans have for the weekend! Momma sure needs to do laundry, I can't snuggle in my hiding spot in the closet it is so overflowing with cloths! Jake, what to come share my Nip Nannar with me? I stole...um..Empress gave it to me. PS Can you believe yesterday was are 200th post?

Cold Box Meme

My sweetie pie Jake tagged us for the cold box meme a few days ago. Here it is! Not too much on it. There is a cute picture of our sticky new nephew and yes and EMPTY kitty frame magnet. Mommy is bad about that. We have an ASPCA emergency numbers magnet. Our FOS magnet!! Our grass cutter beans magnet and a magnet that tells momma different measurements.

Our fridge is kinda empty right now, but there is something neat in there. Quail eggs! Momma was going to use them for some Japanese cooking and didn't so she said she would make them for us! I can't wait to try them!! YUMMM!

Tired Momma

I was supposed to do the cold box meme today but momma did not get home from the Adjusting VET until almost 9:00 last night. They did have good news, her MRI said there are no budging disks in her neck! It is all muscle trauma, while hurty, is easer to treat. She is still supposed to see the Adjusting VET like 3 days a week after day hunting! Momma says it is getting to be too much! This gives her one night a week to get home and do anything. She may cut it down to 2 days just to keep her sanity! Oh, here is a toe peek on Toesday!!
