Hi every kitty and woofie! Renna here and I need your help to get on the Royal Court of this year's Krewe of Barkus & Meoux. In case you're unfamiliar, Mardi Gras is a BIG DEAL with everyone down here in Louisiana. New Orleans has it's big parades and parties of course, but so does Shreveport. Mommy thought it would be fun to participate in the festivities and then she found the bestest Krewe ever!

Not only do I get to join with her but our Krewe works year round providing funds to local animal charities.

I want to be Royalty!

For every parade and Krewe there is a Royal Court. We choose ours with a raffle and box stuffing is ENCOURAGED! and 100% of the entries go to our charities. Every $1 get's me a chance and helps animals in need. WIN-WIN!! The raffle is Feb. 5 so I need all donations by the 4th!

Finally we are all here in LA! YEA! I missed my sisters sooooooo much! And we now have the internets back! Mommy could not even look at any blogs for uscat dayhunting because her they made her sign paper's saying she would not blog on office anythings! Somefang to do with insider info stuffs. Anyways, we has it at home now! Mommy works lots of hours so she convenced my sisters to let me be on their blog again so we could all post. She already warned us she can't help us everyday but we will try to update and see all you guys atleast a couple times a week.

Have any of you ever tried coffees?

I really like Starbucks! So does Queen Snickers, but mommy won't let us have much. She says I'm too hyper as it is, but if I've been a good girl I get to lick out the foam! YUM!

No we are not dead! We just have no internet! We are not even living with momma and daddy right now! Daddy got a job in Louisiana six months ago and had to go live in a hotel while momma tried to look for a day hunting place (the last one last 2 weeks, they where horrible beans and did not pay her) and try to sell the house. The house finally sold, and momma found a new day hunting job in Louisiana! It is almost where I was born! They got an apartment and the Renna mutt has moved there, but with all the craziness they thought we would be too stressed. We have been living with our beloved "Uncle Mike" who gives us stinky goodess, tuna and turkey legs every day! Momma thinks she and daddy will be able to come get us this weekend. We have been with out the internets for along time, we don't know when we will get more then peeks, so we'll see you when we see you!

Hey everykitty! We are still alive! Happy 2009, err really late! Just a quick post for today to let you all know we are still here and are not going to quite blogging. Momma's just been in a bit of a funk. This may change however, she has a real honest to goodness day hunting interview tomorrow!! It's been 7 months now sense she was laid off and has no lead until now. She sayed butterflys are in her tummy! How they got there I don't know, but I don't think they are making her feel any better. We would like to ak for some purrs for this interview to go well. Hopefully tomorrow will be a happy day and momma will feel back in the bloging spirit soon! Luv all you!

We got our Secret Paws!! Guess Who?? Samantha and Tigger!! They give pawsome gifts thank, you thank you!!

Renna got a cute little Princess squeek doll! She LOVESSS squeek toys! She also go a chewy bone, momma was real impressed! Renna does not like bones, go figure for a woofie, and she had given up getting her anymore. This was really anoying momma cus Renna loves to chew and momma wanted something to keep her satified that was not a shoe! Well, she loved this bone! Momma saved the wrapper so she can get more! Way to go Samantha and Tigger!

Not so ya on the squeek toy from my own opnion cus I had to listen to squeek, squeek, squeeek all night long!!!!!!!

The nippy mice on the other paw were brilliant!! Whene I could get some away from Empress! You know what a nip feind she is! She slobbered on and bunny kicked them all before I could get a sniff!

I think I'm gonna came both these stinky goodness tins myself!!

We got this kyoot calender too, momma needs she ALWAYS forgets stuff, and a kitty ornament. Did you know we don't have one? Ya increadable right?? Thanks so much again!

P.S. Is anyone useing Firefox having trouble on blogs? We are have a heck of a time. We can't load some kitties pages or post comments. It took us 3 tries just to log on to our page to post!! If you don't see us commenting that maybe why. Its been going on for a little now and it's getting worse! We want to know if its just us??

First off I have a tattle on my momma! She was a terrible poo head! Apparently my wonderful, lovely and handsome mancat Jake sent me a birthday present a few weeks ago and momma didn't tell me because she wanted to take my pictures with it. However, she boxed the battery charger for the flashy box when we where trying to move and had not found it yet. She was shamed into finnaly finding it last night when Jake asked if I even had it!!! I'm so sorry my sweet that my momma was such a poo head! Thank you sooo much!!

Momma, You get the laser eyes today!! Momma left us to go dayhunting with daddy Tuesday, but do you know what she did while she was there? She cheated on us!!! There is a barn on the property where daddy's office is located. It is currently full of KITTENS!! When momma got done with her work she spent the rest of her time playing with them! She came home covered in fur and tiny teeth and claw marks. To add insult to injury she did not even have a camera to take pictures of the little fur balls for our blog. BAA!! Apparently they were quite an assortment of beauties. There were two mini mancats, one fire point Siamese with Mel Gibson blue eyes and the other was mostly snow white with the same red-gold color tabby stripes down his back and face and gold eyes. They were ALL over momma and bunny kicked her arms (something she's never experienced). The little lady cats where just a varied. The most friendly was a gold eyed tortie, of course! There was also a seal point Siamese with those same Mel Gibson eyes, a cutie calico and an interesting little girl with calico points! MOM why didn't you get pictures????

We thank all of you who have welcomed us back after our sabbatical. It makes us feel so loved! We will try to visit more. There are new kitties who have commented we haven't even seen yet! (blushes)

Our PB& J (Jake my love) friends gave me the oh so cute Very Important Princess Award!!We want to pass this on to our princess cousin Kirara at The Kiaton Empire!

Now we are going to take a little trip in the Way Back machine! He he from our Christmas is July! We got the most pawesome presents from Yaffa & Sebastian at Furry Paws and to our shame we haven't posted the pictures!!

We've had a blast playing and eating treats! There was even a "Cat Butt" air refresher that Momma's got a huge kick out of! HAHAHAHA

We've got one last thing before we sign off, we could use some purrs for a dayhunting job for momma. We didn't want her to go back but now that the house thing didn't work we don't have a choice. She signed up with a temp agency and we are purring they will find something soon because green papers are so low. I love having her to cuddle with all day but I like my stinky goodess and cruchies too!! oh and fresh litter would be nice!!

So, did you miss me?

Wow, we've been gone for along time! I just want to say THANK YOU to Skeezix who's super cute Halloween card came in the mail today and finally got momma out her blog funk!!
Things have been very stressful around here. We did not move after all. Yes, momma and daddy packed everything up (we played in all the boxes) and loaded a moving van and everything then on the way to our new apartment they got a message the deal on our house fell though. Lots of green papers line the litter box. Because of the move momma was waiting to find a new part time day hunting place. Now we are stuck in our old house, momma has no place to day hunt and the bills more then daddy makes. It was going to be so much better in our new place. Lots less green papers. Momma's put out some applications. So far nothing, one place may want her but not for a few months.
Sometimes momma, Renna and I go out and sit on the back porch. I think that helps her stress. She likes to read. It was very nice the other day when it was cloudy and sprinkling.

I enjoy it until Renna starts pestering me! Then I get a little hissed! Well I'm gonna try and keep momma motivated to blog! Especially sense my Purrrthday is Friday!!!

We just found out about dear Pixie, are hearts ache and our purrs go out to Daisey, and her Mommy and Daddy. We take comfort that she happy and healthy at the bridge. She was an inspiration to us, while my own heart issues are different her battle keeps me strong. Momma and I want to follow her example and educate other beans and kitties about heart disease.

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate momma's birthday with us! We are staring moving craziness! I think we have to move out of our house this weekend! EEK! But our new apartment will not be ready until October 3. AAAAH! What will we do? Live in a box? Momma said this whole thing makes her tummy hurt. Daddy said something about a hotel, I've never been in one of those. It sound's like the next few weeks are going to be quite an adventure. I don't know if we'll be able to post until we are in our new place or not so purrrrs for now! We love you kitties!!

We have special Catnip Tea as well as classic green and Chei tea.

We've pulled out Momma's special Willow Blue tea were! We have cream and sugar on the table, I can get honey if any one wants it. Our honey is pretty special it comes from Great Grandma beans farm! Cool Huh?

We have a ton of sushi so dig right in! The roe is especially delicious today!

I know this is a big cake but I didn't know who all would be here plus I wanted different favors for all the different friends who might come. The layers are tuna cream, beef bone, carrot, cheese, strawberry (momma's favorite) and of course ham.

Mommy is blue?

She does not look blue to us, but that's her excuse for not helping us blog. She said some times beans just turn blue and even things they enjoy are hard to do. Things have been crazy and busy here. Momma has had to make a few more quick trips and there have been some days when all four of us have had to go sit in the big red wheel box for HOURS while some other beans look out our house. That was terrible! Momma said that was over because the last beans that came liked our house want to buy it. We have 3 weeks to pack. Momma said we are moving to an apartment. Daddy's job still has not given him an absolute positive on the transfer to Shreveport and if it is it won't be for another 2-3 months. This means we will be moving 2 or 3 times in the next year. Momma said she is going to pull her hair out. I hope she does not, I don't think she would look good bald. She has got to find a dayhunting job at the new apartment location, daddy's green papers just are not enough. This month will be very hard green paper wise, momma said we are using the plastic kind right now so we can have our stinky goodness and crunchies we like. May we ask for some purrs for momma? To add to every thing else she is having more comlications from her sergery a few months ago and had to go to the bean vet yesterday. If the procedures they did in the office didn't fix the problem it may mean another sergery. We should know in a few weeks. We do miss everyone. Maybe we can drag momma to the computer more often so we can catch up.

ps pssssst...Next Tuesday is momma's Purrrthday. We are having a surprise party for her to try and chear her up! Anyone got a good idea for a theme?

Here is some I wanted to post about a few weeks ago! Her name is Happy Kitty! If any of you visit my cousins you may know her already. She is an dayhunting kitty and momma finally got to go visit her when she when to have lunch with Aunt Lindy. She is quite adorable! Her markings are not solid gray but gray on gray tabby stripes! Wow!

Her job is to keep everyone at Aunt Lindy's dayhunting place from getting to serious and overstressed, an easing thing to do in advertising! Guess what she even has her own video collection on UTube. Chronicles of Hippy Kitty You can use that to search for her!!

It's a Monday

Wow just when we thought things where setting down. Momma even got a potential lead on a job with our favorite VETs 2 miles from home on Friday! Then Saterday morning we got an offer on our house! WOW! We've been trying to sell it for over a year! The green papers are not quite all fantastic we are trying a counter offer but..... it's kinda like take what we get. If this goes we will me moving by the end of September (that's what is on the contract now). This is where thing get a bit sticky, where to move?? Daddies work may be offering him a transfer to Louisiana. This new job is not supposed to be ready for a few months so the beans are all worried about what to do "limbo" period. Momma is going to take another quick trip to Mimi bean's tomorrow to go to a concert and check out some apartments and maybe some potential new neighborhoods. Oh yea, the new job in LA is in the same town Grandpa bean just got a new job in! Even more its the same area I was born!

Finally Friday

It sure is nice to have my seat warmer...um..blog machine back! I have so much catching up to do! Purrrs for all my wet Florida friends! Though thankfully the danger has past we had a terrible scare yesterday afternoon! We were all getting our Advantix treatments, which momma highly recommends even for indoor kitties 'cus it repels mosquitoes that can give you heart worms, and momma was not thinking and put Renna's on her right there with us. K9 Advantix is toxic to cats. All of a sudden Empress started spazing and running around the house! When momma saw her she was foaming at the mouth and drooling!! She got some ingested some, but which one? She didn't know if kitty Advantix was bad ingested too? She called our vet, who told us to call the Advantix hotline. While waiting on hold we saw Empress lick her back and then take off foaming again. We told the hotline vet everything. She said if it was the kitty version she was fine and she just got a mouth full of yucky taste and to give her tuna juice. If it was the K9 if was bad and we wouldn't know for 4 hours then the systems would start, her eyes would dilate and she would start twitching. Momma would have to get her to a vet before she started having seizures because it would cause neurological damage!!! There was nothing we could do in the mean time but wait!! After 6 hours, if nothing happened, she was in the clear. YEAK! How stressful!! We are very happy to report she is fine! And got her own large can of tune juice all to herself!!

Wow's mommy has beens more busy now den when she was dayhuntin! Last weeks she got to goes on a special twips wif her sistor, mommy and nefew to make a surprise visit to hers Mimi. She say it was grand! It was a longs drive but it be years sense they wents on a road trips together and baby bean did great in da wheely box! Her Mimi was sooo surprised! She had no seen da baby bean yet cus she no travels real well. Mommy also met a tuxie girl dat lives next door to her Mimi that likes to come overs for treats. Den on Monday she had to leaves again to go take her mommy to the bean vet in another city, and then she came back here to spend da nite so mommy could take her to another town on Tuesday to get Grandpa beans new wheely box! Yesh! Mommy go gets a parts time day hunting so you stay homes, ok?

Momma got a surprise call from Mimi bean to go with her, Aunt Jenni and Baby Bean to visit Great Mimi bean! She had 45 minutes to pack and get ready to leave! Momma could not pass up the opportunity so she kissed us goodbye and flew out the door! Unfortunately Great Mimi bean does not have internet access but Momma was able to get a little bandwidth off the golf course (where Great Mimi bean lives) network so she could post this for us. She can't get enough to download any pics. As momma took our laptop we can't blog, I guess we will see you all next week!!

We IS Back

Hello!! We are finally back! Last week was just kinda blah for momma and we were very good girls and didn't pester her about our blog but this is a new week and we said, "Momma we want to get back online!!" We have so much catching up to do too!! We hope all our friends haven't forgotten us!

As for momma's day hunting, she is going to look into something temporary, maybe even part time. It is possible daddy will be getting transfered to another city in about 3 months and momma doesn't want to get all settled in a great new day hunting position just to leave it. I like the the idea of part time!! She is even going to look at vet clinics, she thinks this would be a great thing and new learning experience.

We wish Ms. Honey all the best. It just tears us all up to think we can't do anything else for them. Momma's old job hunting place was a secure place and she had to turn in all her keys and badge and stuff. :( The night momma and daddy tried to trap them there was a thunderstorm, they waited out in the rain 'till pretty late but eventually gave up thinking they would have the opportunity to try again another night.

Sorry for no updates on dear Ms. Honey and her family. Daddy did make it too help but a tunderstorm showed up too. They waited it out pretty late but no kitties. .....

Unfortunatly Momma will not be able to do anything further for Ms. Honey, as she was layed off from her dayhunting place. Her boss man said bussiness was to slow to pay everyone and they let a couple beans go. It was a BIG shock! We'll post some more later this week, maybe Tuesday but I think I need to get back to momma now.

It looks like Ms. Honey and crew emptied the food bowl last night! (we hope it was her and not a possum!) Momma will be "camping out" at the office this evening in and try to trap the family. She is kinda of nervous, no a lot nervous! So many what ifs? What if she gets a possum? (hehe) What if she gets the kittens and no Honey? or Ms Honey and can't find the babies? She wishes she had a trapping buddy, but daddy has to work late. Some one has to come take care of us too! Yep that her name, Ms. Honey. She is a pale gold and and white tabby. When momma got to her day hunting office today she went looking for her and the babies, but can not find them!! Momma is sick with worry. She put out fresh food in two different spots and clean water. Please come back Ms. Honey! We want to help you and you kittens have a better life!! EMERGENCY

Momma just found out a feral/semi feral mommy kitty and at least 2 babies at living in the bushes next to her office. They are technically on the next door offices property. They are calling in some one to trap and dispose of the cats!!! Momma and a friend at the office is trying to intervene! We needs MEGA purrrs! Momma will have to trap and remove them herself if she can convince them. She is kinda scared by that!!

**Update**

There are 4 kittens! The mommy doesn't look very old either, maybe 9 months herself. Momma just finished talking with the lady next door and they have agreed to let momma trap them. Momma will start trying to trap on Monday. She and her office friend will feed the kitties over the weekend. When they are trapped, they will be coming to our house! YIKES!!! Mommies tummy is all butterflies, she doesn't know how we will manage the green papers for all this but we can't do anything else and daddy agrees.

**Update 2**

Looks like the trapping may have to wait for Wednesday night. The place momma is going to try to take the family for "fixing" and shots is only open Monday and Thursday mornings. This will give momma more time to plan and set up a feeding routine anyway that will help with the trapping process. We think we may try some fund raising and if kitties and their beans just want to help out with green papers too that would be great. We are not sure how much all the spay/neuter costs are going to be as we do not know how many girls and boys there are. Rabies shots are free but any other health care like FIV test cost $20 a piece. Does any kitty know how to set up a paypal button?

We came close to getting another little sister! When momma when to go get our food she ran into this little 6 month old girl named Sabrina. Momma and I are astonished how much she looks like me!!! She is a diluted blue torti with gold-green eyes! Like me! She even has same split blue-gray/cream & gold chin and a cream with gold striped triangle on her tummy!!

Momma thought I must have looked very much like her at 6 months! The store owner said she was a sweetheart! Momma agreed!

She kept trying to grab momma through the cage! If we were already moved I don't think momma would have left with out her.

I was supposed to do the cold box meme today but momma did not get home from the Adjusting VET until almost 9:00 last night. They did have good news, her MRI said there are no budging disks in her neck! It is all muscle trauma, while hurty, is easer to treat. She is still supposed to see the Adjusting VET like 3 days a week after day hunting! Momma says it is getting to be too much! This gives her one night a week to get home and do anything. She may cut it down to 2 days just to keep her sanity! Oh, here is a toe peek on Toesday!!

What a great weekend we had! So much cuddle time and momma made us kibble omelets Saturday and Sunday morning! You see Renna has lost ALOT of baby teeth and is having some trouble eating so momma started making things like kibble omelets to entice her to eat. She decided we should get a treat too this weekend and made them for us!! I got to go outside on Saturday, it was great even if I had to stay on a tether because of my under the gate sneak out last week. Renna and I spent most of our time snoozing up on the porch with momma and daddy because is was like 100F - 38C. Today daddy will be home all day, that means treats! Plus dinner early!

Empress and I got this really awesome award today from Sunny.

Momma has been so busy at work and going to a doctor to fix her from crash we haven't been able to post much or visit. :( We hope you will forgive us. The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mind and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that esthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not he object. Tripping me doesn’t help because I fall faster then you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can curl in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out the fullest possible extent. I also know that sticking tails strait out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit form the bathroom. IF by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the know or get you paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years – canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat’s butt. I cannot stress this enough!

We did have a nice relaxing weekend without the baby woofie! We lounged around, eat and soak up sun! I did miss momma but Empress and I had the who big bed to ourselves. :) When momma come back last night she told us of some kitties she and daddy meet on their trip.

There seems to be at lease a small feral colony at the resort they went to. The Alpha couple resided near momma and daddy's condo. The mancat, who momma named something very descriptive but not kitten rated so we will call King Who Haa, was blond and brave. He came close to Renna, to get treats and even let momma give him a quick pet on the head when she put down a down a bowl of puppy crunchies for him and his Queen.

Here he is eating Renna's beef snacks, she was really nice to share. We taut her to be nice to kitties and she did a good job!

This is Queen Tort! She looks very much like KC! Momma said she was beautiful! She thinks she would have made a nice addiction to the Royal Kitties but she was all feral. Momma could not get very close to her at all. She likes to sit on roof tops!

Momma saw adolescent blond tabby running around, that she though might be one of their children. She couldn't get a clear picture of him/her at all. BTW Momma forgot her flashy box and had to take all these pics with her dying ringer box. Thats why they are so bad.

Weekend Woes

Well we were supposed to have a nice woofie free weekend and have the house all to ourselves. Saturday morning momma and daddy packed up the blue machine and put Renna in her big PTU and they headed out. They were going to a beautiful condo on a wooded lake for a relaxing romantic weekend. I wasn't born yet, my momma was still in high school even!

2. What are the 5 things on my to do list for today:
Eat some temptations.
Taunt the woofie.
Nap in the crows nest.
Play in my new outside play tent.
Have some stinky goodness.

3. Snacks I enjoy:

Tato Chips, Corn Chips, Greenies, Fishie Temptations, grilled Salmon

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

Get us a bigger house with no carpet so momma doesn't have to worry so much about yack and stuff. Fund our friends cat rescue organizations she is trying to start. Stop momma from dayhunting so she can spend time with us and can do things she wants like help us blog and work with rescue efforts.

5. Three of my bad habits:

I steal chips right out of bean hands. Sometimes I try to bite off momma's diamond earrings when she is laying down. I can get over excited at treat time and start nipping momma's fingers instead of the treat.

6. Five places I have lived:

Louisiana golf course, Grandma beans house in Haughton LA , Daddy's Apartment (before he was my daddy) in Garland, TX, Momma's collage house before she and daddy got married in Denton, TX and in our house now in Rockwall.

7. Five jobs I have had:

Hunter, Mother, Guard Cat, Faithful Companion, Daddy Approver

Yea, a day to blog in peace! Why? The woffie is in momma and daddies litter box for the day. She made green runny poo all over the carpets and momma could not let her run around today! HA HA That's what she gets for stealing our food. Momma gagged worse then when she cleans up my yack! To add to every thing momma can't yell at us when we get on the cabinets either, something called larengitisis stole her voice! She is starting to cough a lot, I wonder if that means she will stay home and cuddle with us some time this week. She says NOOOOO. "I can't get sick. I have no more time!" Even more important Momma's sister going to have her baby bean this week! Momma asked if kitties will purr for her to get better so she can see her nephew when he is born!

5. We got another Swap 'N Tails package too! Our may partners were Chance & Shadow!
They did something super cool and got us presents from The Greater Good Network and our presents help animals in need!!
6. The wicker balls are pawesome, we'll have to keep them hidden from the puppy unless we are ready to play with them. Hey Empress, what you go there?

Here is our doodle for the day! It is Empress' daydream. It is what she sketches in the litterbox all the time. We have a purrr request, momma and daddy had a bad weekend. First daddy got mild heatstroke at the faire on Saturday and they had to take him to the first aid station, then after they got home he had the WORSTEST coughing fit ever (3 hours), he has been sick with a cold for like two weeks. Momma almost took him to the ER. Then she take him to the ER on Sunday but not for the cold, he bent down in the shower to pick up some thing he dropped and sliced his head open on the shower door handle. There was TONS of blood! It scart momma bad. He ended up with 4 stitches and 5 staples in his scalp! Now momma is starting to cough this morning she is afraid the cold daddy has/had that she though she avoided is trying to get her now. BLA
