Our Dove Friends

We have a pair of doves that are living in our flower bed! They come right up on the window sill so we can see them every morning. Momma wondered what we were looking at so intently, she was very surprised!

Me is chirpin goodmornin to Misses Dove. She don't mind if me watches hers.
Mommy got some close up pictures of our dove friends.
Sorry about the blurry it is through a window and screen.
Here is me and Mr. Dove

**PS We will visit as much as we can, but sometimes reaching on the computer makes momma's whiplash hurt.**

Purrs to your poor mommy and daddy! I hope they start feeling less ouchy soon.

What lovely birdies - and such a close-up view! Our squirrels have been very brave lately and come up to us that close . . . it drives poor Holly out of her mind. *snicker*

Wow, Doves - they look very pretty. I have never seen doves around our house, we just have ALOT of Quails. They make laughing sounds at me all the time : (

Get well wishes to your momma!

Those dove pictures are so neat - they'd drive me crazy being that close (and yet so far)!

Those doves are very brave to be that close to you. Does your mom ever, uh, say, leave the window open?

We are afraid we would pounce on those doves faster than a lightning bold!
We will be deserted soon for the rest of the month and will post about it Thursday, after the peace globe.

Wow! I'm surprised Misses and Mr. Dove sit there like that for you two! Sometimes we'll get a birdie that lands on the outside windowsill, but if any one goes towards the window the bird will quickly fly off. And we never get big birdies like that sitting on the windowsill. Just little ones. You are so lucky!!

I think your Momma should rest. Visiting is not as important as her getting all better.

Wow, how cute that the Doves visit your sill. We used to have mourning doves visit when we had a bird feeder, but we had to get rid of it by request of the landlord. Now no birdies come to visit.
